Loved this post by the hundreds earlier this morning.

the printed fan is awesome. Definitely some good inspiration for other printed goods!

Loved the chandelier too. At first they looked like balloons, but they were chinese lanterns.

A sweet gift made for the bride—a fortune teller!

A year ago today our dear friends and previous clients married. We wish you both the best and can’t wait to plan the ten year! <3

With the Hundreds’ post earlier today, I couldn’t help but follow up with amazing architecture and ceiling designs that could put the sistine to shame.

Saw this on the Hundred’s post earlier, just wanted to share the fun over at Audrey’s Summer Social, held at Urbanic Boutique in Venice. If the awesome little trinkets & stationery isn’t enough to keep you around, the hygenic and cozy ambience definitely will.
Shoot, they’ve got their own pebble-ridden garden in the back! And a hidden bathroom wall! (The soap was great too. heheh)

Hello all.
So I am here to write about this very special wedding featured on 100 Layer Cake!!
I would actually like to give a big thanks to Tarek for being the lead on this wedding and he did an amazing job! And also a BIG thanks for Noa from feather love photography for taking so many detailed shots of our work…I don’t even know where to choose from.
From the first time we all met…we just clicked and from then on we have been besties 4 lyfe ;) Thank you for everything you have done for us Noa!!!
When we first met with C&C they told us they desired an intimate and personal affair. We decided the perfect place for the ceremony and reception would be at C’s beautiful backyard in Southern California. The ceremony was arranged for immediate family and took place on 10.10.10, while the reception, held on 10.23.10 was a huge celebration for friends.
The wedding was inspired by the 1930’s pastel and ornate designs, particularly seen in My Fair Lady’s horse race scene, as well as Disneyland’s historical Main Street. Using a light, washed out pastel color scheme, we juxtapositioned hard elements of structure and architecture with soft, organic decor.
In order to bring this vision to life, we worked really close with Mai of Bunch Studio to create the floral masterpieces. Mai’s craft and floral installation were breath-taking; from the entry gate to each pumpkin centerpiece and ceremony Urns.

This is Coco. The cutest and most innocent dog ever.

We spent numerous weekends at flea markets looking for the perfect pieces for the reception. We found this amazing vintage desk and chair that was placed right in front of the entrance.

To keep the “My Fair Lady” theme, we placed a pretty a little vintage telephone, detailed frames, pastel colored books and a card holder on the desk. The entrance looked very inviting and intimate, the only thing missing was Miss Hepburn herself ;)

Custom designed guest-book by us :)

Since the wedding was around the holidays of Halloween and Thanksgiving we thought it would be nice to incorporate that into the wedding with pastel colored pumpkins. Bunch Studio used pumpkins as the base for the centerpieces. We also hand carved pumpkins and placed them around the reception.

We wanted to think of a clever way to incorporate the table numbers so we decided to create customized stickers with the table number on to the vintage bottles filled with lemonade. It turned out beautiful!

As the tent lights were turned on and guests started to arrive, the place looked absolutely magical. To see their vision come to life was breath taking! The night was filled with a lot of dancing, singing, and laughs!

Live Karaoke baby! So much fun!!

We basically all danced the night away!!
