Layers of beautiful pieces are built on each other to create these amazing sculptures, which are then lit by blacklight for an alternative mood
How is it going tumblr world? We haven’t blogged our events here in a while but we figured we get back into it. I know we be slackin’. This wedding was a very special one to us. Three weeks before the big day the original venue we had booked had to be shutdown due to a flood. Terrifying much? But with the help of a lot of anxiety meds (jk but not really) and the wedding gods above, a location was found in the awesome city of Malibu. Fun Fact: If you notice, this is the same exact house where one of the party scenes were shot in the classic She’s All That movie. Yeah you care! Now just imagine a huge house party with a Bohemian classy vibe in front of the beach with your closest friends and family. The wedding details included bottle table numbers with custom script lettering that told the story each year the bride and groom’s relationship, from their first date to buying a house together. Jewel encrusted and carved pastel pumpkins. Hand dyed paper lanterns strung across the garden and lush flowers filled the pool. It was a great pleasure to work with Brooke & Will. We wish you the very best! Now enjoy the amazing pictures from Abi Q photography

Vogue March 2013 | Fanning serving confectionery sweets!
Laura & Allen were one of our sweetest couples this past year. It was a great pleasure to design their wedding. All of their paper details were hand illustrated. Hand sewn table runners and curated vintage props for tables. Yarn for days. So many details. The wedding took place at the beautiful huntington central park equestrian center that set the perfect mood for the prairie vibe they were going for. Guests were able to horse around in the photo booth set up by smile booth and also buck on to the Kogi Food truck!

and some fun pictures we took ourselves below:
