Little House on the Prairie Inspiration Shoot
Happy New Year my friends. It’s 2012 and we are here to deliver like we said.
Sugar & Fluff is going to take you through the life and adventures of the Ingalls family in the 19th century American West. We wanted to incorporate elements of hills, wheat and the all American wholesome tradition. Days of Heaven and Rodarte Fall 2011 were big inspirations for us as well.
Alright here we go…

Custom designed invitations printed on butcher paper.

1800s stemware found at a local flea market.

A beautiful lush centerpiece handcrafted with rolls and rolls of yarn to give the effect of classic prairie green hills. #rollsonrollsonrolls

Hand-made wheat wreaths were attached above the table.

Another awesome flea market find…we hand sewed the table number with yarn onto the prairie wagon.

Old newspaper/books from the 1800s were crafted directly under the plates and each guest had a bread roll as a favor. Newspaper plates and bread rolls?!? You can’t get much more country than that!
