If you’re going to WPPI, then I better see you at the Airplanes + Blazers party on February 20th! Don’t got tickets? We are giving away 2 tickets! This year’s theme is classic 1960′s Vegas and we decided to create some inspiration for the guys and how to dress up. Mix it up a bit…throw in some classic 1960 pieces with some modern fall 2011 menswear trends. Velvet blazers, color blocked suits, fur lined coats and fun hats. Baseball Caps are a big trend this year…so ditch that fedora if you would like! ALWAYS REMEMBER DUDES DON’T WEAR SUSPENDERS WITH A BELT!
Comment your favorite 1960s movie and we will randomly select 2 winners later today and email you!

From McQueen to Missoni…there were a few highlights I’d like to bring to the table.
Missoni brought brilliant layers of knitwear…from the outerwear to shoes.

Awesome wine colors throughout this season…this suit adds the right kick.

Ami had great color compliments and outrageous patterns.

Bottega Veneta with it’s awesome juxtaposition of colors.
We had some celebrity surprises in Prada (Jamie Bell)
And while Burberry had the finest fit

Alexander McQueen took the cake with the most sought after trends and styles this season. From the color to fabric and proportions…I can’t wait to piece something like this together. Great Gatsby, indeed!

did I mention Yeezy in a Kurta? Nuff sed. (via)
Before the chaos of NYFW comes creepin’ here are some of my favorites from fall 2012 men’s fashion week. Valentino’s cape like tuxes look amazing! I am also digging the animal print trend and the short blazers.

KENT & Curwen 2011 Autumn/Winter “A MODERN TRADITION” Lookbook — loving the jackets
Aren’t those paper boutonnieres so rad?

Inspiration is from les minets, a group of mod French youngsters in the 50’s.
We already saw a peek of it this past season. Get ready for more…Love the retro resort feel and colors.

This would be an awesome idea for an engagement photo shoot session.

Inspired by mug shots from the 1920’s, this look book is to die for (no pun intended).
